 Baked Tomatoes with Feta Cheese in the Steamer



Ingredients:

4 large tomatoes

1 clove of garlic

Salt

Pepper

Basil

100 g feta cheese

Preparation: 

  1. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Then place the tomatoes cut side up on a perforated tray. 
  2. Press the garlic clove through a garlic press or chop finely, add salt, pepper, and basil, and mix with the diced feta cheese. 
  3. Fill this mixture into the tomatoes. 
  4. Steam the tomatoes at 100 degrees for about 4 minutes and serve as a starter.

White bread goes perfectly with it.  Meaty tomatoes are not so suitable, as they are already well filled with tomato flesh inside.
